When God Seems Silent

One of the most difficult experiences in the Christian walk is praying and feeling as though heaven is silent.
You pray. You wait. You search the Scriptures. Yet the answer does not seem to come.
However, God's silence does not mean God's absence.
Be still, and know that I am God. — Psalm 46:10
There are seasons when God asks us to wait. Waiting can develop patience, strengthen our faith and teach us to depend on Him rather than on immediate answers.
Jesus Himself taught His followers to pray continually and not give up.
If you are waiting for an answer today, keep praying. Keep worshipping. Keep reading God's Word. Keep trusting His character.
You may not understand the silence now, but God is still working.
Remember: God's timing is not a denial of His goodness.
