Finding Peace in the Middle of the Storm
God does not promise a life without storms, but He promises to remain with us through every storm.
Life can change suddenly. One moment everything seems peaceful, and the next moment we find ourselves facing circumstances we never expected.
The disciples experienced something similar when they found themselves in a storm while Jesus was with them.
Peace, be still. — Mark 4:39
Jesus demonstrated that He has authority over the storm. The disciples learned that the presence of Jesus with them was greater than the storm around them.
Sometimes God calms the storm. At other times, He gives us strength to remain standing while the storm passes.
If you are facing a difficult season, remember that you are not alone. God is with you.
His presence can give you peace even when your circumstances have not changed.
Prayer: Lord, give me peace in the middle of every storm. Help me to remember that You are with me and that nothing is greater than Your power. Amen.
